Hi, if you haven't visited before, you will get a better idea of what the site's all about, and it's ethos if you take a few minutes to read this and a few other text panels.

Headings are in White, sub-headings are in Blue, and Links are in Green.

Just so you know, we use a dark background and light text here because it's easier on the eye for everyone, and it's far better and less alienating for people who have Visual impairments.

There is a common Misconception that dark backgrounds & light text cause eye strain, and tire the reader.

Researching this belief within on-line Opthalmic professional literature and that of a number of visual disability org's has lead us to believe that the opposite is the actual truth.

Your eyes have to strain past all the white pixels on the page to discern the dark lettering on most web sites, and this does cause tiredness and eye-strain.

With a white page you have to actively look for interesting page content, but with the dark page, you do not.

Your eyes can see it and focus without any strain or effort at all, and because there is no associated dazzle as there is with a white background, you can concentrate on the info or content, and enjoy a longer and more informative or enjoyable visit!

We also believe a web site should be a feast for the eyes, so we're trying to achieve that as well as make an honest living, and serve a community here. 8-)

Some of the .php pages are still in the conventional settings and forms, white page and black text, we appologise for this, & will be updating them to match this visually optimized page after launch in 2009.
